Nimol and I met to discuss our presentation. We decided to prepare a presentation on communication. As I have been a teacher in Thailand for quite a while I have noticed that communication between foreigners and Thais is often a problem. We believe that the topic is quite interesting and useful for both of us - for Nimol, as she is going to work as an administrator and will probably have to deal with people from other countries, and for me as a teacher who faces the problem every day.
As it was our first meeting we started with a plan. We are going to start with finding literature about effective communication, especially on communication in international organization. We will share our finding during our next meeting. We also decided to think about how we would solve the problem if we were admins at a school where teachers come from different backgrounds and cultures. Again, we will share our ideas next week.
To summarize, what we have so far is a problem and we are now in the process of finding a solution. We will surely have more next week after sharing what we found in the literature and our ideas.
On week two Dr. Andy make a two small group, me and Nouch as one group.He explained about the topic ,other group find the topic to write about communication between foreign teacher and Thais teacher.For my group i tried to get idea from Dr. Andy, he suggested it can be any thing about school ond he shown the course outline from long screen and said that can be any thing from these topic. So I tried to contact Nouch several time , but no respond. She might be busy,after a day she called me set the time for Sunday. I came to university , after two hours,I received call from her, she canceled.Then I send her a message postpone other day,there was no reply.I waited for second week and no any news.
